Useful Info

Your complete guide to getting started and progressing on Psychofun 2.4.3

Your First Character

Upon creating your character and entering the world for the first time, you'll be spawned in the Levelling zone — Hyjal. There you'll find the XP Items + XP Weapons vendor, where you'll find all the items you'll need to fight your way to the level cap — 70.

Tip: Don't forget to collect the gold along your levelling journey — it's a valuable resource.

After that, next to the teleporter at the end of the levelling area, you'll find the Class Zone Portal. Take the trip. There, you'll find all the trainers you need, including riding, weapons, and armor. As for the NPCs that keep each trainer company — we'll address those later on.

Phase 1 — Start Gear

You're now levelled, trained, and ready to take on anyone that crosses your path. Before that, however, head to the Shop area — Desolace (Teleporter → SHOP). You can purchase your P1 equipment from the START GEAR NPC right behind you. Don't forget to visit the Buffer NPC next to the teleporter before heading into dungeons!

Phase 2 — Sunwell Plateau

Your first real challenge is Sunwell Plateau dungeon (Dungeons → P2 Dungeons → Sunwell Plateau), where the P2 Set drops. For P2 offset gear, run the P2 Offset DungeonsLochneska (Dungeons → P2 Dungeons → Lochneska) and Lord Kazzak (Dungeons → P2 Dungeons → Lord Kazzak).

Phase 3 — Botanica & Scarlet Dungeons

The P3 Set is located in Botanica (Dungeons → P3 Dungeons → The Botanica). You can upgrade your weapons by killing the Zabiják (Dungeons → P3 Dungeons → Scarlet Zabijak), and the offset pieces are dropped by High Inquisitor Whitemane (Dungeons → P3 Dungeons → Scarlet Inkvizitor).

Phase 4 — Battlegrounds

P4 gear is earned through Battlegrounds. In the Shop, join BGs and purchase gear from the three vendors nearby:

Tip: Don't forget to pick up daily BG quests from the Battleground Quester to gear up faster!

Magisters' Terrace — Legendary Items

Teleporter → Dungeons → Magisters' Terrace

Upon entering the instance, you'll find the Legendary Quester NPC, which offers four quests: two for waist items (Spell / Melee), one for a Unique-Equipped bag, and one for a shirt.

These rewards can be obtained by collecting the required number of Hlava Sejra Plesniveho from Sejra Plesnivec, which has an 80% drop chance. Alternatively, if you're lucky, Sejra also has a 20% chance to drop the Legendary items directly.

Phase 5 — P5 Set

This is it; you've proven yourself through countless battles, PvE and PvP alike. You've earned your shiny P4 set, and are wondering — what next? The Class Zone Portal is making a return. In the Class Zone you'll find Warp Splinter, the P5 quest giver.

Step 1 — Weekly quest. Pick up the weekly quest Secrets of the Botanica (Heroic) from Warp Splinter. Collect the 4 boss heads and slay Warp Splinter inside The Botanica (Heroic) (Dungeons → P5 Botanica (HEROIC)). Turning it in rewards a P5 Token.

Step 2 — Choose your slot. Take that P5 Token back to Warp Splinter and exchange it for the slot token you want — Head, Shoulders, Chest, Hands or Legs.

Step 3 — Craft the piece. Combine that slot token with the following to receive one P5 set piece:

Per P5 piece

  • • The slot P5 Token (Head / Shoulders / Chest / Hands / Legs)
  • • The relevant P4 set piece
  • • An Arena Token
  • Battleground Token ×100
  • 500g

Gems

Regular (Red, Yellow, Blue, etc.) gems can be bought from the Fun Gems vendor for gold and Badge of Justice. Meta gems, however, require Mark of the Illidari.

Arenas

A crucial part of the game. Earn Arena Points through 2v2, 3v3, and 5v5 brackets. With enough points (and rating), you can acquire better offset gear or upgrade your main set.

Arena Rewards

The Arena Rewards NPC provides an awesome boost to your daily Arena Point earnings by up to 300, on top of the daily flush.
Upon completing 10 matches, regardless of their outcome, you'll receive 100 Arena Points. You automatically receive 10 points for a match win, and 4 points for a match loss.
You can accumulate up to 200 points that way. The minimum number of matches you can run is 20 (wins only), with a maximum of 50 (losses only). Upon reaching the 300 arena points limit, you'll be able to claim a Daily PvP Reward Box that helps progress your character even further.

Events

The GM team organizes events based on the current online population. Depending on the event difficulty and your placement, you can earn up to 6 Event Marks from each event. These can be exchanged for unique rewards!

!

Bravery Quests

Complete daily Bravery quests to earn Marks of Bravery. Do these every day! They become essential later — for example, the Defender of Hero, an item that absorbs both spell and melee damage, is a game-changer.

Lord of The Ring(s) and Defender of Hero

Quest giver: Elarion the Ancient.

To obtain one of the currently most powerful rings (Melee and Spell variant), you'll need to combine PvP and PvE — Battlegrounds, Arenas, and fighting Onyxia with a raid.

Ring requirements

As for the Defender of Hero trinket, the requirements are:

Trinket requirements

  • Mark of Bravery ×100 — rewards from the daily Bravery quests above
  • Znacka Hopsala ×20 — daily quest rewards for completing skill-based jump structures (Quest Ports → Hopsa Jumps → Hopsa 1/2/3)
  • Event Mark ×100 — rewarded from Events hosted by GMs
  • Battleground Token ×200 — daily Battleground Quest rewards

Elementals Deck

To create the item required to purchase the Elemental Weapons, you need to collect all 8 cards that make up the Elementals Ticket item.

Where to get the cards

Once all eight cards are in your bag, simply right-click one of them. After a short cast, they'll turn into the Elementals Ticket — exchange it for a weapon, neck, or bag from the Primal Forgemaster NPC in the Class Zone.

NB: Two-handed weapons require two sets of cards 1–8.

Amulet of Gods

During your journey, you'll encounter NPCs Othat, God of Honor and Dhollios. They offer a questline for the Amulet of Gods — the best neck piece on the server. This necklace can be upgraded up to 100 times, giving you a massive stat advantage. We will be gradually raising the upgrade cap, starting at level 10 on release.

Tip: Current upgrade cap: level 10.

See full upgrade requirements table →

Race Change

Ready for a new identity? Change your character's race — even across factions — while keeping your class, level, gear, and progression intact.

Examples:

  • • Human Mage Gnome Mage
  • • Blood Elf Paladin Draenei Paladin

You can find instructions on how to do it in the Race Change section.

Supports: All playable races, including cross-faction race changes.

Reclass Your Gear

Is your Feral Druid or Holy Paladin starting to feel stale? Swap your current gear for the equivalent set of the opposite specialization — at no loss in value.

Example: P5 Feral Druid Shoulders P5 Spell Druid Shoulders

How it works:

  1. Equip every item you want to exchange.
  2. Unequip any items you don't want included in the swap.
  3. Log out of the character you wish to reclass.
  4. Visit your Account page and open the Reclass section.
  5. Confirm your exchange.
  6. Log back in and collect your new gear from the mailbox.

Cost: 2 coins per item, minimum 12 coins.

Available for: Paladin, Shaman, and Druid.
